An interactive timeline that looks back at the events and individuals that defined Black history and Britains understanding of racism.

Since its creation over 30 years ago, Black history in Britain is still being discovered in the public eye. The toppling of the statue of a 17th-century slave trader resulted in my people researching the legacy of slavery in Britain.

Understanding history at 360 degrees allows for a better understanding of where the current discussions about race and racism stem from.

This timeline aims to allow another perspective to be heard, one that may not be familiar with many.

To keep up with the times, listen to the songs that were fighting racism!
